How the community works
You must be at least 18 to join. Sign in through ChatGPT, choose a display name and accept these rules to create a community profile. ChatGPT sign-in is managed by the hosting platform; FilingLantern never receives your password. Google sign-in is not connected. Your profile lets you start topics, reply, report content and remove your own entries. Forum discussions are visible to registered members, including the operator. Other members can copy or screenshot content, so do not share confidential information.
Keep discussions useful
Ask about reported facts, SEC filings, research methods or product features. Cite evidence and distinguish facts from opinions. Disclose relevant affiliations or positions when discussing a company. Do not post personalized investment advice, instructions to trade, return guarantees, financial promotions, scams, spam, harassment, unlawful material or others’ private information. Do not impersonate staff. Posting is limited to 4 topics or replies per minute and 40 per rolling day; reports are limited to 10 per day.
Member posts are user content. They are not verified, endorsed or investment recommendations from FilingLantern. The operator may remove content, close topics or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Use “Report” on an entry or email support with its topic link. Reports are reviewed manually, with no guaranteed response time. If you disagree with a moderation decision, email the same contact to ask for a review.
What we store and why
Developer and publisher: Filip Majchrzak.
The declared controller is Filip Majchrzak, operating as STUDIO MASAŻU FILIP MAJCHRZAK, ul. Czarnieckiego 9, 73-200 Choszczno, Poland, declared tax identifier 5941544462. Contact: fmajchrzak.ai@gmail.com. Details were supplied by the owner and have not been independently verified.
For optional forum membership we store your platform user identifier, email, chosen display name, joining time, the accepted rules version and the most recent day you used the forum. These records support your account, author permissions, membership counts, moderation and service messages, on the basis of providing the community service. We store your topics, replies, creation times and reports for the same purposes and for preventing abuse. Moderation and protecting the service rely on the operator’s legitimate interest. No portfolio, brokerage credentials or payment information is requested. Email addresses are accessible to the operator in the protected owner panel and are not returned in other members’ posts or profile views. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing.
Data is stored in the hosting platform’s Cloudflare D1 database. The hosting and sign-in providers may separately process technical access and authentication information under their policies. Technical logs and provider records are separate from this application database. Hosting may involve processing outside Poland or the EEA; the operator must maintain appropriate provider terms and transfer safeguards. The service privacy notice also explains provider processing and subscription records.
Optional usage counts
On the research panel, you can allow or refuse basic usage measurement. Before you allow it, the application sends no usage events to its activity database. With permission, it records only a UTC day, event type (company view, CSV download or filing click), ticker, annual/quarter view, a coarse acquisition category and a count. It does not store visitor IDs, IP addresses, full referral URLs, browser fingerprints or email links in these activity records. Counts are not unique visitors or proof of investment demand; repeated or automated actions can affect them.
A device-local preference remembers your choice. Use “Usage privacy settings” on the research page to change it at any time. Withdrawal stops future counts; existing aggregate records cannot be linked to you for individual erasure. Aggregate activity records older than 90 days are removed when the next consented event is processed. Host technical logs remain separate. Essential provider authentication storage is needed for signed-in forum access.
Retention, removal and your rights
Your community account and posts remain until you remove them or request deletion. “My account” lets you delete the stored email and display name, remove the content of your topics and replies and remove reports you submitted. Other members’ replies may remain as part of the discussion. Removed entries retain an anonymous structural placeholder; removed message text is cleared from the live application database. Copies already made by others, provider logs or backups may remain under separate retention policies. Deleting a forum profile does not cancel a subscription or erase consent, invoice or other legally required billing records; use Manage billing first. Report records about an entry may also remain for moderation; avoid including unnecessary personal information in a report.
You can contact the controller to request access, correction, deletion or restriction, to object where applicable, or to request portability. These rights depend on the processing basis and applicable law. You may complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of UODO. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. Email support is used for your enquiry, not an automatic newsletter.
Community and research terms
Forum participation is optional and registration alone creates no paid subscription. Research is a public preview until checkout is enabled. Paid research access has one plan at $9 USD per month, including applicable tax, with automatic monthly renewal and cancellation under the FilingLantern service terms. A purchase requires explicit confirmation. Data coverage and moderation are limited; verify reported facts against the cited SEC filings. Mandatory consumer and data protection rights remain available.
